  • Pioneer in Social Work profession for more than 40 years: formulated anti-poverty and children’s rights laws; founded and maintained multiple coalitions; was a member of the committee that founded Batshaw Youth Protection and Shawbridge Residential Facility.
  • Assistant Professor at McGill School of Social Work.
  • Assistant Professor at McGill Faculty of Pediatric Medicine.
  • Chaired the International Congress for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, held in Montreal.
  • Member of the Executive of the International Society, which sponsored the International Congress.
  • Representative of children on the Regional Board Project: Jeunesse Montrealais Child Poverty.
