Your Brain in Training

Science has proven that focusing your attention actually restructures your brain, and can train it to concentrate, feel greater happiness, and cope with stress. Focusing your attention can also change behavioral habits, making it easier to live a healthy and active lifestyle, and resist cravings that interfere with this. It’s true! Brain Training, even for just 5-minutes each day, can profoundly influence the way you experience food, exercise, social situations, school, and work, and how you feel about yourself. By remodeling the physical structure of your brain, you will manage choices and the emotions that influence those choices, better. In all, you’ll be creating a brain that is better at doing whatever you ask it to do.
The Moovjam Healthy Living and Tracking program is a Brain Training program that integrates Exercise Science, Nutrition Science, Brain Science, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Training, and Professional Support. Just 5-minutes a day can result in positive changes that last a lifetime!
Research
Using an MRI, Eileen Luders, Department of Neurology at the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine, found evidence that focused attention changes the physical structure of the brain (i.e. increased neural connections and gray matter). In 2009, she compared the brains of meditators, and non-meditators. The meditators had increased gray matter in brain regions that control attention, emotional regulation, and mental flexibility, making them better able to control their emotions and make mindful choices. Moovjam’s program is based on this type of research, and our program is designed to improve control over areas of the brain that relate to food consumption, activity levels, well-being and happiness.
